What's Your 2022 Declaration?

Suz from The Rockstar Advocate (even her freakin’ company name is a total snack for this copywriter!) led our Mentoress Collective Literary Salon yesterday.

And she helped us create our 2022 digital vision boards.

I had a TON of work to get done yesterday…

… so naturally, I spent the bulk of my afternoon vision-boarding my creative heart out.

And then something magical happened - I fell into a delicious groove where my 2022 word sashayed right in front of my face.

PLAY.

I’ve spent the bulk of my adult life hyper-focused on work.

If you’re multi-passionate and love the work you put out into the world, then I’m sure you can relate to my workaholic tendencies.

But here’s the thing…

Your best creative work comes through you when you’re loose and relaxed.

And that comes Kevin Rogers himself, one of my very favorite creatives alive.

You have to make time for play to find your inspiration and big ideas.

AND you can’t take care of your clients if you’re not caring for yourself first. It’s that whole “put your air mask on first” expression.
